Existing on Social Security in a tiny 200 square foot apartment with basic furniture, secondhand clothes, and a food box is just living.  We want to help our clients thrive.  Their needs are many and varied, and since they don’t have the means to purchase those things, it’s up to us.  If you look through our list you can see that we’re not asking for anything extravagant, just some basics that most of us take for granted.  We need:

  • Gift cards to accessible stores such as Fred Meyer, Trader Joes, New Seasons, Whole Foods, etc
  • Gift cards to Regal Cinemas or other movie theaters close to the downtown area
  • Cleaning supplies: sponges, mops, vacuums, brooms, dustpans, window cleaner, dish soap, all purpose cleaner
  • Hygiene supplies: toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, soap, conditioner, lotion
  • Wellness items: unopened multivitamins, tea, yoga mats, journals and pens, art supplies
  • Kitchen supplies: tupperware, coffee cups, silverware, dishes, cookware
  • New household supplies: bath mats, towel sets, kitchen towels
