Aren’t we lucky to have friends who like to throw dance parties? And aren’t we doubly lucky that one spring eve in 2008 our friend Sarah hosted a dance party with a door charge that benefited The Giving Tree? We took in $179, an impressive amount considering that the door charge was a mere $3, and that partygoers were encouraged to choose from four nonprofits to donate their cover to! Thank you Sarah for putting on such a fabulous party (we all had fun dancing and drumming ’til the wee hours), and thanks to everyone who donated to The Giving Tree!
