One ought, every day at least, to hear a little song, read a good poem, see a fine picture, and, if it were possible, to speak a few reasonable words in order that worldly cares may not obliterate the sense of the beautiful which God has implanted in the human soul.

The Lyndon Musolf Manor Mural Project
The small studio apartments at the Lyndon Musolf Manor are only about 200 square feet, and most windows look out onto brick walls and alleyways rather than lively downtown shops or scenic vistas. Beauty is a precious commodity in places like this, which is why residents here were so excited to be a part of this project.

McCoy Village Mural Project
McCoy Village is home to 55 families and individuals in Northeast Portland, and for many years was also home to The Giving Tree’s main office. The folks at McCoy Village became a second family to us, we celebrated our community one summer by creating a special mural with the help of the resident children.
